Please tell me if anyone still has the 2.26 AKU3.2 file for the Cingular8125, I have two of these phones and would like to update the better one so that I can use it before my current one fails so bad that it becomes unuseable and I loose all my data. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

You want an official ROM upgrade or un-official ones?

I was looking for the official one. But I wouldnt mind a tweaked one either, except I do not have enought time on my hands to learn everything about cooking one up. What ever assistance you can suggest would be great.

I would suggest you go ahead with an un-official upgrade if you want the latest Windows Mobile 6.5 because official ROM updates are not available for latest version of Windows Mobile OS.

Before you proceed any further, I must make it clear that flashing with an un-official ROM upgrade may not be legal if you have your Wizard PocketPC under carrier contracts and doing so may void your warranties. If that doesn't matter to you, tell us if you own a G3 or G4 PocketPC.

Make a soft-reset to your Wizard PocketPC and note the numbers that are displayed there. If the IPL version is either 1.xx or 2.xx, it's a G3 model. If the version numbers have 1.xx.xxx1 (the third block of digits) then you have a G4 model.

Tell us your model and I shall proceed further on instructions to upgrade your PocketPC.
