I had been installing some apps, (FlexMail, Agile) and was starting to get some annoying errors on startup, that it couldn't start agile, and couldn't find the FlexMail exe file.. So I thought I'd just reflash the ROM which I've done probably 30 times so far. The phone reboots, then hangs and doesn't come to the bootloader screen, I have to take the battery out to reset. I also can't get the bootloader to run on startup via the two buttons.<br /><br />Is this an issue with the EnterBootLoader.exe file, or something else? I'm running 2.26 IPL/SPL and ROM ver 2.26.10.2 WWE.<br /><br /><br />if i soft reboot the phone, i loose my time settings. I'm wondering if it's like a PC that's lost it's CMOS battery, and that's why I can't load a ROM?

Hello Mr.Derrick,<br /><br />      This is a little serious pproblem, close to what you presume(cmos battery). Probably the hardware bios base which process bootloader before loading os. Is your device under warranty?<br /><br />Regards<br />Carty..<br />

Ya we just got our phones (3 of them for our company) about 3 weeks ago.<br /><br />Thanks for the info, it's been hard finding someone who might know about this. I'm not sure how my warranty will be affected as it's not running the ROM it came with. 

Most of the times they say wrranty expired when a third party ROM is flashed. The official ROM should require no Bootloader. Try downloading an official ROM and it should be upgraded with ActiveSync connection itself.<br /><br />Let us know further.<br /><br />Regards<br />Carty..

it does the same thing unless I'm missing something. I have RUU_Wizard_225111_22511102_022511_CWS_WWE_Ship.exe - is this not what you mean?

Yes that should be a shipped ROM. Does that require getting into Bootloader? What happens when you execute the file normally? And also try to extract it with winzip and let us know what files you could see.<br /><br />Regards<br />Carty..
